I love what I do. Crafting images has been a passion for over 30 years and I can't imagine a life now without photography. I'm fortunate to craft images of many things I love. But the opportunity to meet and spend time with beautiful and interesting people is a blessing that makes me relish my people photography the most.
Peering into the life and capturing the essence of painter Allison Robin Smith is one such blessing. Spending an afternoon conversing and capturing her process in her beautiful barn studio is an experience I'm grateful for. Allison's work is soulful and evocative. Her landscapes are imbued with energy, light and textures that evoke peace and harmony with nature. They are as deep and contemplative as Allison is. And she is one of the most endearing people you will ever meet.
